SD20-E Bus-Type Servo Drive System
Third-generation bus servo performance with built-in EtherCAT

1.2 kHz high-response precision servo in a slim single-board design
The SDE20-G is a high-performance general-purpose servo drive built on a compact single-board design for driving permanent magnet synchronous servo motors. Operating from single-phase or three-phase 220 VAC, it covers a 200 W – 1.8 kW power range across six models in two slim book-style formats (L2: 177×170×50 mm; L3: 176×180×58 mm), with continuous output currents of 1.5–8.0 Arms.
Engineered for demanding precision motion, the SDE20-G delivers a 1.2 kHz speed response frequency, ±0.01% speed fluctuation across 0–100% load, a 1:10,000 speed control range and 1-command-unit positioning accuracy. It accepts high-speed pulse commands up to 4 MHz and offers six control modes — pulse position, register position, analog speed, register speed, analog torque and register torque — combinable in mixed modes for complex motion sequences.
Auto-tuning intelligence — offline/online inertia identification, gain auto-adjustment, vibration suppression, model feedforward and friction compensation — simplifies commissioning, while a built-in PLC function and high-speed counter enable standalone sequence control. Communication is standard Modbus with RS485/RS232 for PC setup and monitoring, with optional CANopen and EtherCAT versions. With 17/23-bit absolute, 23-bit incremental and 17-bit magnetic encoder support, an integrated EMC C3-class filter and compliance with IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and 61800-3, the SDE20-G is a complete servo solution.
